Project Description:
Co-wrote and managed a $20 million, 3-year EPA Community Change grant application to repurpose the Hunter Building in Wilkinsburg into a Community Resilience Hub. The proposed project aimed to foster workforce development, provide sustainability training, and create affordable spaces for creative and co-working initiatives to strengthen the local community.
Work on Project:
Directed all phases of grant preparation, including research, drafting, editing, and formatting to ensure alignment with EPA grant criteria.
Collaborated with CEOs of Civically and Equity Impact Center to integrate organizational goals and maintain a cohesive vision for the project.
Coordinated submission processes to meet deadlines and delivered a polished, high-quality application reflective of the project's transformative potential.
Positioned the Hunter Building Resilience Hub proposal as a cornerstone project for community transformation, emphasizing sustainability, equity, and workforce development. Demonstrated strong project management skills by integrating stakeholder input and aligning efforts with the EPA’s vision for impactful community change.
